زهوارها یا گسکت ها با توجه به شکل پروفیل درب و پنجره دارای سطح مقاطع متفاوتی هستند که وظیفه آن ها ثابت نگه داشتن و محکم کردن شیشه بر روی پروفیل درب و پنجره می باشد. زهوار معمولا مشکی رنگ بوده و دارای قابلیت انعطاف پذیری و شکل دهی بالایی است.
