جرانول غطاء التثبيت الثابت هو مادة خام لإنتاج آخر طبقة بوليمرية توضع على السطح الخارجي للكابلات. تعرف هذه الطبقة كغطاء ST1 (ذات المقاومة الحرارية إلى 70 درجة مئوية) في صناعة الأسلاك والكابلات، ويجب أن توضع في حدود معيار IEC 60502. يكون غطاء ST1 عادة باللون الأسود ويستخدم للكابلات ذات الضغط الضعيف.
